I actually reached my word count today AND I got accepted into UW-Osh! Factoring in the dozen or so fun size butterfingers I ate, this may go down in history as the best day of my life.

My last university won't release my transcript so I can apply to a new university until I pay off or defer my student loans; I can't defer my loan until I enroll in a new university.

It's 15 below zero (40 below w/ windchill) and I still have two quizzes today. I wouldn't care (much) if I lived two blocks from the academic buildings but I have to wait for buses and walk from bus stops and shit. Incredible school rant alert: Last week I decided that if I can't reacquire the grant I lost from Marquette b/c of my drop in GPA, I'll transfer to Madison in the fall - b/c sure I'm getting a good education at Marquette, but b/c I have to work two jobs to pay for it, my grades totally suck and that sort of defeats the purpose. actually it's not all b/c i tried so hard in physics to get a decent grade that i neglected my other classes and i have a 2.8 gpa which means the loss of many scholarships and grants this is unacceptable aaaaargh
